Bell ringers rehearse every Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., learning a variety of music. The technique of playing hand bells and hand chimes can be learned in a relatively short time, but it is a prerequisite that a ringer must be able to read music.
The members of the Choir strive for excellence, but good humor and laughter are always a part of our rehearsals. The fellowship that we enjoy is very important to the ringers. The Friday practices always end with a coffee time together, which often includes homemade cookies.
This choir is to assist with music leadership at Sunday Services, and to play at church functions, such as concerts. Our outreach schedule includes playing at seniors facilities periodically, and for 7 years we have entertained at the City Hospital "Festival of Trees."
If you are interested in playing hand bells, give the church office a call or speak directly to Keith.
