At St. Martin's, being affirming means we go beyond acceptance; it involves a public, intentional, and explicit commitment to embracing and celebrating diversity within our community. We actively promote inclusivity through education, advocacy, and supportive actions. We challenge discrimination and ensure our practices, policies, and teachings reflect a steadfast commitment to equality and love for all.

Everyone is welcome at St. Martin's, including children. We have Children's Church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Activity tables will be set up at the back of the sanctuary for the Sundays without separate Children's Church.
If you are worried that your children might be noisy, bring them anyway. We don't mind. -
Some people do. But lots of folks just come as they are. Either way, we'd be glad to have you join us.
-
Typically, we serve communion on the first Sunday of the month from September to June.
Like other aspects of life at St. Martin’s, our communion table is open to everyone. -
At St. Martin’s we baptize and receive new members by transfer or reaffirmation of faith at regular intervals. Please call or email the church office to find out more information.
-
We have coffee available for you to bring into worship. We encourage everyone to bring a reusable mug, but don't worry if you forget or don't have one as we have some available here.
We also enjoy coffee and fellowship after the service. Everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, water and conversation.

Over 60 years ago, when St. Martin's was built, there was a plan to incorporate a traditional worship area at a later stage. However, when the time came, the congregation chose to build a space that prioritized accessibility and public use for meetings and Christian education, rather than a traditional sanctuary.
While our building may not boast traditional beauty, its design emphasizes functionality. It serves as a hub for various community activities, accommodating everything from AA meetings and fitness classes to piano recitals and public forums.
